We had our first Brooklyn Robot Foundry class yesterday, and it went incredibly well. Remarkably well!
We had a sold out class – 12 kids – who were focused, playful, and built amazing, customized Brush Bot robots. They gained hands on experience in troubleshooting, manufacturing, and working with parts like electric motors, LEDs, pivots, gaskets, screws, nuts and bolts. Everyone left with a working robot.
The class gave us a chance to teach and reinforce concepts around circuits, friction, and vibration. It was clear the kids were fully engaged and having a great time.
A great start. The fun of the build.
