Activism

We at the Robot Foundry want to let this administration know that we will not idly sit back and watch.  We want to show our kids that we will fight for equality and fair treatment of all humans. If you would like to join us, please register for an event below.

Our goal is to build community and to create a call to action. We will come up with constructive ways to voice our resistance with a focus on human and environmental rights. Including our children in activist efforts empowers them to create the peaceful world we envision for them.

Feb 9th Event- POSTPONED DUE TO STORM!

  • We are hosting an event that is for adults and kids. We will watch your children so the adults can write postcards and call senators to voice concerns.
  • We will have the contact phone number for calling senators and provide postcards, mailing addresses and stamps for letters.
  • There will options for kids to write postcards as well.
  • Brooklyn Location– 303 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 (3rd and Carroll)
  • $5 registration fee covers the cost our booking agent charges us per registration. (Registration required so we can get a kid count for babysitting)
  • All children who attend must be potty trained.
  • The kids will be hanging out and playing with cool robot toys/etc. This will not be a typical Foundry event where children are building and taking home their own robots. You should think about it more along the lines of babysitting. We may even bring out a movie for the kids to watch.
  • We will serve pizza. Please bring ~$5 cash to cover the food cost.
  • Any money you donate during registration will 100% go to a charity. The charity will be determined by 2/9 but will likely be the ACLU or similar organization.

You can also join our activism mailing list to be alerted of upcoming activist events.
