Happy Holidays from Brooklyn Robot Foundry
Happy Holidays!
We had a really incredible year! We started 2014 with the opening of our second location in Tribeca, launched a Women in Tech Lecture Series, revamped our weekend classes, created an improved tiered structure for birthday parties, began offering school fieldtrips and continued to expand our class offerings in both locations.
In April we brought on Elissa Spencer as our Chief Education Officer whose expertise in classroom management has greatly impacted our daily interactions with kids. What an incredible asset she is to our team!
We successfully ran summer sessions in two locations serving over 640 students, had over 300 kids in our afterschool programs and had over 2,400 kids come to parties! In 2014, we had over 4,820 students attend our programs! Wow, that is a lot of robots!!!
What’s coming in 2015? We will be relocating from our Canal Street (Tribeca) location to a new permanent location! More details coming soon! We launched an Afterschool Program for kids with special needs that starts in January and will be launching a teacher training program in the spring. This summer in addition to our normal week-long sessions, we will offer a one week program for kids with special needs and one week for Girls ONLY! It is going to be a great year!
What’s happening over the winter break? We have been getting a lot of calls about what we have going on over the break.
