FOUNDRY FUNDAYS in BROOKLYN HEIGHTS

Here’s a glimpse of the robot projects we’ll be making during the upcoming school holidays. This is just the start of the fun – we’ll also have additional craft projects, games, and lots of play time each day too!

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29
PHOTO OF RED PAPER LANTERN
We’re celebrating the Chinese New Year with a lantern! We will also make drums to celebrate!

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17
THere is a photo of a robot that has teeth made from foam, a wooden jaw in 2 peices, and googly eyes. It has a motor in a gear box on top.
He’s a hungry little monster who wants to be your friend!

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18

It’s Mid-winter break. Do you want to make a snowman (or woman)?

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

The Snow Plow-a-lot will clean up all the snow from yesterday’s snowfall! (After we build it).

 

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20

The Foundry will become Feather Feather Land, where students have feather had it this good! We’ll be making this super fun Mechanical Feather robot and other plume-y crafts.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21
Robot with wings made from popsicle sticks and a blue propellor in the front. There is a character flying the plane made form a pompom.

Let’s go on a trip- fly away with our pom=pom friend in this propeller plane!

 

MONDAY, MARCH 31

There is a green robot made from wood and popsicle sticks deocrated with green feathers, giant googly eyes, and green foam.
This bird waddles like a penguin and uses a motor to flap its wings!

 

MONDAY, APRIL 14

It’s worm outside and we’re inching toward the beginning of our amazing Summer Circuits programs, so we’re going to have some silly times with our Roboworm and other squiggly fun!

TUESDAY, APRIL 15

Come sail away with me- your friendly sailboat car!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16

This laser wiggles with the help of a motor to make circle and squiggle shapes!

THURSDAY, APRIL 17

We’re sure your child will take a shine to this bright Funday! Anything glows as we build this amazing Lamperator. We just know it’ll be love at first light!

THURSDAY, JUNE 5

We’re celebrating the start of summer with a party! The fun (and the pompoms) will be flying when your child builds the Pom Pom Party robot and enjoys the other activities we have planned!
