We're empowering builders and inspiring creative thinkers. One whimsical robot at a time!
From one-hour classes to week-long camps, we bring a wide range of programs directly to our students where they already are.
Be more than a business owner. We're enriching lives and fostering a love for STEAM education in kids of all backgrounds.
Jenny Young opened the first Brooklyn Robot Foundry in 2011 to give children an immersive, hands-on engineering experience. Her unique, fun-filled approach has been a proven success and the fun continues to build with robot-builders all over the country.
More of Our StoryA solid franchise business requires two elements: a strong product and a great business model. We’ve got both!
Families spent over $23 billion on afterschool programs alone in the US in 2021 and that is expected to increase significantly each year, particularly for STEAM enrichment. Not to mention camps, parties, etc…
Our projects emulate real-world engineering better than other programs. By giving kids 2-14 a hands-on experience that embraces trial and error, we’re allowing children to fail and giving them the tools for recovery.
Our programs are led by wonderful teachers. They foster connections, inspire, motivate, uplift, and lead their students. And they’re kinda goofy too, because being a kid should be fun. And actually, so should being an adult.
Forget expensive real estate and meet your customers where they already are! This mobile business is ready to hit the ground running, from amazing multi-year curricula to individually packed class materials!
Successful STEAM programs require a ton of knowledge, sourcing, and quality assurance. We’ve already found the best materials and components (and vast storage space!). We’ve tested all of our projects repeatedly. We’ve figured it all out – so you don’t have to!
We believe strongly in inclusion, diversity, acceptance, and respect. We support collaboration and empathy. We strive to reflect this in our staffing, our students, and any future franchises.
We’re here to support you, every step of the way.
Our production team assembles, tests, and ships individual kits for each project, saving you hundreds of hours of work. Each project is accompanied by a lesson plan for teachers, including instructions and visuals, to minimize prep time.
We’ve been doing this for over 10 years. We can show you how to make it work – from the robots to the business as a whole. We’ve made mistakes – so you don’t have to. Each robot is thoroughly planned and tested, so each class should go smoothly. And if it doesn’t – we’ll show you what to do!
We want to make it as quick and easy as possible to get families signed up for your classes. We’ve designed an awesome website and registration system that will do just that. And of course, we’ll train you on how to make the most of it!
Includes $38,500 initial franchise fee, initial inventory, 3 months working capital, and more!
