On National STEM Day (November 8th), Brooklyn Robot Foundry visited Jenks to talk to students about owning a STEM business. The 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed learning how Brooklyn Robot Foundry designs the robots for their kids’ programs and got to help Brooklyn Robot Foundry design a brand-new robot!
Now that robot needs a name and since Jenks students designed the robot, who better than Jenks students to name it?
What do you think we should name this awesome new robot?
The winning name will be chosen by a panel from Brooklyn Robot Foundry. The winning student will receive a robot-building party for their class in which all students in the class will get to build their own robot and take it home with them afterward.

Students will be building an age-appropriate robot from our standard curriculum. They will not be building the robot above.
