Maker Squad Open Build

Maker Squad Open Build is a flexible hands-on building session for kids in Kindergarten–5th grade!

Kids can drop in, build, create, and explore fun robotics and STEAM projects in a relaxed open-class format. This is perfect for families looking for an after-camp activity where kids can make something cool, use their creativity, and get hands-on with building and engineering.

Students will work on beginner-friendly maker projects while practicing problem-solving, creativity, and confidence.

Class Details:
Grades: Kindergarten–5th Grade
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Time: 3:30–4:30 PM
Class Length: 1 hour
Capacity: 15 students per session
Location: Makerspace

What kids will do:
Build hands-on robotics and engineering projects
Explore STEAM concepts in a fun, creative way
Create beginner-friendly maker projects
Use motors, materials, and moving parts
Practice problem-solving through hands-on building
