Summer Session at Newark Community Summer Program

Building robots is so much fun and we had a great time on July 25th and 26th building together at camp. We built two great robot projects, Robo Rex and a Bucking Bronco.

First, we learned how to build a circuit, a circle of electricity powered by the batteries in our battery pack.  This is the most important part – it’s the part that makes the whole thing work! Then it was all about building the structure of the robots and putting them all together to make them work. Finally, it was time to put our individual touches on each of our robots by decorating them however we wanted.

A big thank you to Wayne County M.O.S.T. for bringing Brooklyn Robot Foundry Rochester into camp. We were so happy to be a part of the activities for the week and look forward to building with everyone again soon!
