Activism Event This Thursday, 2/9
You may have noticed a new tab on the BRF website: Activism. We are going to start hosting activism events in our spaces because we want to let this administration know that we will not idly sit back and watch. We want to show our kids that we will fight for equality and fair treatment of all humans. Want to help us? It’s easy!
Thursday, February 2nd at 6:30-8:30pm:
- Event will take place at our Gowanus location, 303 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn.
- We will provide all of the materials necessary to write to our senators: postcards, mailing addresses, stamps and etc.
- Bring your kids! Our staff will provide free childcare and help kids write letters if they want, too. Please note that we will not be building robots at this event, but just babysitting.
- We will have pizza! Please bring $5 to cover the costs of food. This event is BYOB.

- If you wish to donate money at this event, 100% will go to a TBD organization such as the ACLU.
