Early dismissal? Make it a Foundry Half Day!

Half days are awesome for kids, not so much for parents! Drop your builders off with us at our Westport Makerspace for an afternoon of building, creating and making new friends. Kids engineer their very own robot, then decorate it and take it home to KEEP. Open to builders ages 5–12, 12:30pm–3pm.

What’s Included

  • A real robot build: kids engineer a working robot with real-world parts like motors, LEDs, gearboxes, switches and electric circuitry, then take it home
  • We put the “A” in STEAM: arts and crafts time lets every builder personalize their creation
  • An afternoon of fun: tinkering challenges, board games and team activities
  • Extended day until 5pm: need a later pickup? Add extended day for an additional $40
  • Friendly, CPR, First Aid and AED-certified teachers who are background-checked and fully trained
  • All materials and tools included, so kids can just show up and build
