Why Robot Foundry Parties?
What makes Robot Foundry parties so special is that everyone builds their very own moving robot, and then has the chance to get super creative, customizing it however they desire. Best of all, everyone will get to bring their robot (toys) home as a party souvenir for continued fun!
Our teachers will be there every step of the way, leading the group as each child builds and decorates their own moving robot. Lots of silliness and laughter included! Get inspired by the teacher’s example robot as the children interact with it at the start of the session, or go in a completely different direction and unleash your inner creativity!
We’ll bring all of the robot fun to you! We will provide a robot-kit for each participant, decorations, and all necessary tools for the build (tools to be returned after party). Host it at your home or choose another location in Manhattan Downtown* – we’ll meet you there!

Our robot-building parties are custom-priced based on party size; this is to ensure we have enough teachers and supplies available for everyone to have a successful event! Refer below for detailed information.

Why should kids get all the fun? We know grown-ups love to build too! Our party robots are designed to maximize fun, no matter the age group. From corporate team-building to casual get-togethers with friends, bring our robot-building into your event to add to all the laughing and socializing while maybe even learning something new!

Party Request Form
We bring the fun to you! We are a fully mobile program and are not involved in providing a space or space rental to hold parties. However, we have three rental space partners we can recommend in Greenwich Village and Financial District, Manhattan. Our partners provide either a $100 or 10% discount from their rental rates. We only handle the robot-building activity and related materials – i.e. robot kit for each participant, decorations, tools for the robot build, and clean up after the robot activity. Party planning aspects, such as food, cake, venue rental, party decorations or party clean up are outside our scope.
Absolutely! This is our Mini Maker Party, specially designed for the youngest builders! Our Lead Instructor (along with the right number of staff for your party size) will guide everyone through the robot build. But because little builders sometimes need big help – especially with using screwdrivers – we ask that PARENTS OR AN ADULT BE NEARBY in case any of these young builders need one-on-one support.
NOTE: Children ages 2–3 can absolutely build too! For 2-3’s, a parent or grown-up MUST BUILD ALONGSIDE their child. Adults have fun building too! Thank you for your understanding as we want to ensure the best possible experience for everyone at your Mini Makers party!
Small-sized tier is for 5-8 participants.
Medium-sized tier is for 9-16 participants.
Large-sized tier is for 17-24 participants.
X-Large-sized tier is for 25-32 participants.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: we require a minimum of five participants or a payment of five for us to come hold our party activity.
For example: If you expect 20 participants, you would book the Large-sized party – $595 deposit for a group of 17-24 children and three instructors. The deposit covers the appropriate number of instructors needed for that party size plus the first 5 participants. Each additional participant after the first 5 will be charged at $60 per. The example total cost for 20 children or participants would be: $1,495.
All pricing includes a flat $15 robot-kit/materials fee for each child to build; materials are subject to tax. We will also provide a gift box for the children to put their robots in to take home!
Tables and chairs for each child to sit and build. Children will be building with screwdrivers, so it’s best that they can comfortably reach the table.
For Medium-sized parties and up, we recommend setting up two separate tables: a Build Table where kids construct their robots, and a smaller Decorating Station where they can pick up decorations once they’re done building. This allows for a smoother transition — as some children build quicker and some slower, kids can head over to start decorating as soon as they finish, without waiting on the group.
For Small-sized parties, this isn’t necessary, though it can still help if feasible. And if two separate tables just aren’t doable on your end, no worries — please let us know ahead of time and we’ll prepare differently.
