My name is Kim and I’m the owner of Brooklyn Robot Foundry Rochester.
An Industrial and Systems Engineer by education but a kid at heart, giving children (and adults) the opportunity to build robots has been amazing. I’ve had many different opportunities during my career but being a small business owner doesn’t even compare! And even though the things I do aren’t always glamorous, that’s OK! The end result is what matters most, and that’s bringing these amazing robot building experiences to kids all over our area and BUILDING FUN TOGETHER!

Brooklyn Robot Foundry Rochester is a mobile business which means we bring the robots to you, wherever you are. We have some great community partners who allow us to host classes in their spaces too. We’re always building robots somewhere!

Needs Based Scholarships
From time to time, we are able to offer need-based scholarships for our programs. The spots are awarded on a first come, first served basis. These scholarships cover the entire program fee. Participants will be required to pay for only materials and extended stay (when applicable). We don’t do any sort of verification of your need… we trust that if you pay a reduced price it is because that is what your budget can afford.
